Gather your complete supply kit from the children's desk to complete your art piece in the Teen Zone, or take basic supplies with you to complete the project at home. Children and teens will tap into their creativity by taking home pre-packaged, fun crafting and activity kits to assemble. While supplies last.
Read It & Rate It – Read It & Rate It is an interactive literacy program designed for children up to age 12. Children practice basic reading, listening, and conversation skills by selecting a book, reading it, and sharing their book review (and rating) with library staff. A variety of different books are provided in the children’s area on a weekly basis. Children will receive a surprise after sharing their review.
The social worker in the library program
provides information on utility and rental payments, referrals for employment,
SNAP assistance, career source referrals, and other resources within the
County.
Scheduled appointments are available on Tuesday mornings at the Deltona Regional Library from 9 am-1pm. Afternoon
walk-in assistance is available from 2pm-5pm.
Appointments can also be scheduled for the
DeLand Regional Library on Wednesday and the DeBary Library on
Mondays.

program designed for children ages 0-24 months.Children and caregivers are introduced to the basic building blocks of
literacy through nursery rhymes, stories, fingerplays, and music; in a fun and educational
environment. Programs may include time for unstructured play and socialization.

Mother Goose on the Loose is an interactive 21st Century literacy program designed for children ages 0-24 months. Children and caregivers are introduced to formative building blocks of literacy through nursery rhymes, stories, fingerplays and music; in a fun and education environment. May include time for unstructured play and socialization.
Planned for ages 2-5 (though all children are welcome). Join us for a weekly outdoor storytime in City Center Park (next to City Hall) across from the library. Don’t forget to bring a towel or chair to sit on, water and sunglasses! May be canceled due to weather. Storytime in the Park is provided in partnership with Port Orange Parks and Recreation.

Time is an interactive, 21st Century literacy program designed for
children ages 18 months-3 years. Children
and caregivers are introduced to basic building blocks of literacy through stories,
rhymes, and music; in a fun and educational environment. Programs may end with a brief S.T.R.E.A.M. (Science,
Technology, Reading, Engineering, Art, and Math) activity.
Family Tales:10:30 a.m., Tuesdays. Family Tales is an interactive literacy program designed for children of all ages. Families are introduced to a wide variety of literacy and social skills through stories, rhymes, music, and other activities, in a fun and educational environment.
MyTime Storytime: 10:30 a.m., Tuesdays. MyTime Storytime is an interactive physical literacy program. Children and caregivers are introduced to basic stretches designed to build coordination, motor skills, mindfulness, and flexibility during with relaxing, music and story-filled program.
Ready to Learn Pre-K Storytime is an interactive
21st Century literacy program designed for children ages 3-5 years
old. Children and caregivers are introduced to a wide variety of kindergarten
readiness skills through stories, rhymes, music, and motor activities; in a fun
and educational environment. Programs
will end with a brief S.T.R.E.A.M. activity (Science, Technology, Reading,
Engineering, Art, and Math) or with skill development stations. This week's theme is Winter.
