Qigong
Qigong (chee gong) Each Wednesday, January 10 - Wednesday, April 24
Qigong is an ancient practice that dates back at least 4,000 years. It is considered a cornerstone of Chinese medicine. With gentle physical movements, mental focus and meditation, Qigong reduces stress, relieves pain and discomfort in muscles and joints resulting in an increased sense of wellbeing.
Ann Minoff is a certified Qigong instructor with 10 years of experience.

Tales with Tails
Tales with Tails is an interactive reading program designed for children up to age 12. Children practice basic reading aloud skills by pairing up with a specially trained volunteer dog. Reservations for 15-minute reading sessions are required. Books are provided or children can bring their favorite story along for the fun and learning!

The social worker in the library program provides information
on utility and rental payments, SNAP, career source referrals, and other
resources within the County.

The social worker in the library program provides
information on utility and rental payments, referrals for employment, SNAP
assistance, career source referrals, and other resources within the County.
Scheduled appointments are available on the Second and
Fourth Tuesday in the mornings at the Port Orange Regional Library from 9am-1pm
and afternoon walk-in assistance is available from 2pm-5pm.
Appointments can also be scheduled for the Daytona Beach
Regional Library on Mondays and Thursdays and the Ormond Beach Regional Library
on Wednesday.
