Your ancestors all have a story to tell and it is your duty to find it.  Miles Meyer of  OurAncestories Genealogy will step you through the process of finding the information, compiling it and then using that information to tell the story of their lives.  Records such as Census, birth, marriage, and death can help you provide the skeleton of the story but there is more to them than just that.  Miles will discuss timelines, storyboarding, and filling in the gaps during this presentation.  Registration is not required for this free program.

Bring your own fiber arts project (knitting, crochet, etc.) and join us for a casual meet-up to work on projects and have some fun!

This new group will meet monthly to let crafters work on their latest projects and enjoy the company of others. 

Please note that this is not an instructional workshop, but a gathering to give crafters a place to socialize and learn from each other. Crafters supply their own materials and projects but some limited supplies and craft ideas may be available.

Spooky Movie Fest

Get ready for a spooky day with a movie marathon of films featuring ghosts!

The schedule for the day is:

10 a.m. - The Haunted Mansion
PG; 88 minutes
Jim Evers is a real estate agent tasked with finding a buyer for a huge but dilapidated old house. When the Evers family visit the property before their family vacation, they discover it's already inhabited by 999 ghosts, none of whom are interested in sharing the space. With the help of an eccentric medium, the Evers family try to get the ghosts to leave.

12 p.m. - A Haunting in Venice
PG-13; 103 minutes
Poirot reluctantly attends a séance at a decaying, haunted palazzo. When one of the ghosts is murdered, the detective is thrust into a sinister world of shadows and secrets. 

2 p.m. - Ghostbusters: Afterlife

When a single mom and her two kids arrive in a small town, they begin to discover their connection to the original Ghostbusters and the secret legacy their grandfather left behind.
