Toddler Time: 10:30 a.m., Wednesdays. Toddler Time is an interactive 21st Century literacy program designed for children ages 18 months-3 years. Children and caregivers are introduced to basic building blocks of literacy through stories, rhymes, and music; in a fun and educational environment. Programs may end with a brief S.T.R.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Art, and Math) activity.  

The LaunchPad is thrilled to announce the newest addition to the wide array of technology...VR headsets! Enjoy a roller coaster ride or even tour museums in other countries.

Reservations may be made for 30 minute time slots. Suitable for ages 8 and up.

Wiggle, Giggle, Groove: 11 a.m., Wednesdays. Wiggle, Giggle, Groove is an interactive physical literacy program designed for children 0-5 years. Children and caregivers are introduced to basic movements designed to build coordination, motor skills, rhythm and flexibility during this lively, music-filled program.

Lore Librarian Mike, with the Volusia County Public Library, discusses Godzilla, including little known facts, bios, and histories.  He’ll even provide some reading recommendations similar to Godzilla.

MakerLab Recycled Fairy House: 4 p.m., Wednesday, April 24. This program is designed for those in grades 6-12. Get creative and express yourself exploring, design, and experimentation with crafts and S.T.R.E.A.M. activities. Today we will be making recycled fairy houses.

S.T.R.E.A.M.: Engineering with LEGOs: 4 p.m., Wednesdays. S.T.R.E.A.M. is an interactive multi-literacy program that integrates Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Art, and Math concepts aimed at developing innovation, imagination, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. School age children are introduced to the building blocks of one or more S.T.R.E.A.M. learning concepts through exploratory hands-on activities in a fun and educational environment. Kids can let their imagination soar with hands-on building challenges using LEGO blocks. 

Game On: 5:30 p.m., Wednesdays. This program is for those in grades 6-12. Drop by to play or compete in a variety of games from tabletop to screen. There will be a selection of board, card, and electronic games available for you to choose from.

 Scheduled appointments are available on Monday and Thursday mornings at the Daytona Beach Regional Library from 9:30am-1pm. Afternoon walk-in assistance is available from 2pm-5:30pm. 

 Appointments can also be scheduled for the New Smyrna Beach Regional Library on first and third Tuesdays and the Port Orange Regional Library on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month. Appointments can be made at the Ormond Beach Regional Library on Wednesdays. Appointments can be made at the Daytona Beach Regional Library on the 1^st and 3^rd Friday and the Deltona Regional Library on the 2^nd and 4^th Friday of the month.

Family Tales: 11 a.m., Thursdays. Family Tales is an interactive literacy program designed for children of all ages. Families are introduced to a wide variety of literacy and social skills through stories, rhymes, music, and other activities, in a fun and educational environment.

S.T.R.E.A.M. is an interactive multi-literacy program that integrates Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Art, and Math concepts aimed at developing innovation, imagination, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Families are introduced to the building blocks of one or more S.T.R.E.A.M. learning concepts through exploratory hands-on activities in a fun and educational environment. A special S.T.R.E.A.M. program designed for whole families that includes collaborative learning. Space is limited to 12 participants.

S.T.R.E.A.M. Art Storytime: 4 p.m., Friday, April 26. S.T.R.E.A.M. Art Storytime is an interactive story time that integrates Art concepts aimed at developing innovation, imagination, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. School age children are introduced to the building blocks of the Art in S.T.R.E.A.M. learning concepts through exploratory hands-on activities in a fun and educational environment. Kids can let their imagination soar with hands-on art activities with materials inspired by illustrators. This program is designed for school age children. 

S.T.R.E.A.M.: Make.do: 2 p.m., Saturday, April 27. S.T.R.E.A.M. is an interactive multi-literacy program that integrates Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Art, and Math concepts aimed at developing innovation, imagination, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. School age children are introduced to the building blocks of one or more S.T.R.E.A.M. learning concepts through exploratory hands-on activities in a fun and educational environment. Children and families can use tools designed for cardboard to create projects from prompts provided or from their imaginations. The program is for children in kindergarten through 5th grade.

Children and caregivers are introduced to a wide variety of kindergarten readiness skills through stories, rhymes, music, and motor activities; in a fun and educational environment. Program will end with a brief S.T.R.E.A.M. activity or craft.
