IMAGINE & EXPLORE: Escape the Labyrinth Escape Challenge: All day, Monday, April 1 to Tuesday, April 30th. IMAGINE & EXPLORE: Escape Challenge is an interactive learning program designed to maximize exploration and guided play as a means of developing critical thinking skills, social skills, math and reading literacies, and problem-solving skills. All ages are welcome. No registration is required.

Children and teens will tap into their creativity by taking home pre-packaged, fun crafting and activity kits to assemble. While supplies last.

Gametastic: Boardgames 3:30 p.m., Fridays. Gametastic: Boardgames is an interactive gaming program designed to maximize play as a means of developing critical thinking skills, social skills, or strategy skills.  Children are introduced to board, dice, and/or card games through exploratory hands-on activities in a fun and educational environment. 

This program is for those in grades 6-12 and features a variety of activities including crafts, tabletop games, coloring and more.

Science Fiction and Fantasy is built on the background of fantastic locations and worlds, and “worldbuilding” is the backbone of that process. Learn the basic aspects of how to create fantastical fiction worlds and locations for both Tabletop Roleplaying Games like Dungeons & Dragons, or for writing Science Fiction or Fantasy fiction.

Movie Time: 2 p.m., Saturdays. Movie Time is a multi-sensory learning activity that stimulates critical thinking skills, creativity, and imagination.  Through selected movies, children may enjoy stories that foster feelings of empathy and sensitivity, may experience story elements such as character development and conflict resolution, or that simply spark their imaginations. This program is for those in grades 6-12. Get creative and express yourself by exploring, designing, and experimenting with crafts and S.T.R.E.A.M. activities. Visit the LaunchPad between 12 and 2 p.m. to create with the Cricut Maker®, a die-cutting machine. Experiment with the supplies provided or bring your own materials. All supplies included.
