Pumpkin Decorating Contest

Fun for the whole family!

Age Categories: Children ages 3-7, Children ages 8-12, Teens ages 13-17, Adults 18 and over

Decorate a pumpkin or gourd - real or artificial. Bring pumpkins to the library by October 21. Judging will take place the week of October 23. Winners will be announced October 30. Winners in each age category will receive a prize!

Diabetes Self-Management program is open to people 60 years of age or older with diabetes. This 2 ½ hour program meets once a week for six weeks. For maximum benefit, participants are asked to commit to all six classes. Registration is required.

  • Find practical ways to deal with stress, depression, anger, and frustration.
  • Discuss ways to prevent or delay diabetes complications & strategies for sick days.
  • Discover tools to enhance nutrition and exercise choices.
  • Learn new ways to talk with your doctor and family about your health.

The Diabetes workshop can help you get the support that you need to take charge of your life!
