Join us for this two-hour class where we will discuss basic functions such as turning your iPad on and off, working with apps doing tasks such as opening, closing, installing and uninstalling, and even talking to Siri. You are welcome to bring your iPad and follow along if you like; no devices will be provided. If you plan to bring your iPad, please have it set up before you join us, as there will not be an opportunity for tech help during or after the class. Jim Sawgrass

Jim Sawgrass is a native Floridian and a member of the Muskogee Creek Indian Tribe. He has served on the Florida Indian Council from 1991 to 1995 and has been sharing his knowledge of the Southeastern Native American tribes for over 30 years. Join us for this Teen program to learn about Native American culture and heritage in the Southeastern United States. Sawgrass and his son, Cody Boettner, will teach about the diverse Native American backgrounds with a series of artifacts. Cody will also perform his famous Native American “Hoop Dance.” We know you will enjoy this great performance! This program is planned for 6th-12th graders (ages 11-17), though all ages are welcome.
