The social worker in the library program provides information on utility and rental payments, SNAP, career source referrals, and other resources within the County. 

 Scheduled appointments are available on Monday and Thursday mornings at the Daytona Beach Regional Library from 9:30am-1pm. Afternoon walk-in assistance is available from 2pm-5:30pm. 

 Appointments can also be scheduled for the New Smyrna Beach Regional Library on first and third Tuesdays and the Port Orange Regional Library on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month. Appointments can be made at the Ormond Beach Regional Library on Wednesdays. Appointments can be made at the Daytona Beach Regional Library on the 1st and 3rd Friday and the Deltona Regional Library on the 2nd and 4th Friday of the month.

Homeschool Huddle: Chefs and Bakers featuring Recipes and Reads

Homeschool Huddle: Chefs and Bakers featuring Recipes and Reads: 11 a.m., Friday, April 19. Homeschool Huddle is an interdisciplinary literacy program designed to encourage social and collaborative learning in an educational environment. Homeschool learners are introduced to varied educational topics and concepts in a group setting and will learn about library resources for research. 

Learn about basic cooking while learning how to make butter! Recipes and Reads is a program for families. Samples will be available while supplies last. 

This project was funded under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act from the Institute of Museum and Library Services. Florida's LSTA program is administered by the Department of State's Division of Library and Information Services.
