Florida Native Plant Society - Pawpaw chapter member Leslie Nixon will discuss why pollinators are necessary and how their existence is threatened in today's world. 

Toddler Time is an interactive, 21st Century literacy program designed for children ages 18 months-3 years. Children and caregivers are introduced to basic building blocks of literacy through stories, rhymes, and music; in a fun and educational environment. Programs may end with a brief S.T.R.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Art, and Math) activity.

Quick Crafts is a physical literacy program designed to develop fine motor and critical thinking skills. School-age children will tap into their creativity by constructing crafts from a variety of materials provided in the children’s section. Supplies may be limited.  Quick Crafts is co-sponsored by Volusia County Public Library and the Friends of the Ormond Beach Library.

This program is for those in grades 6-12. Stop by the Teen Area to participate in a variety of activities and learn about library services.

Interested in exploring watercolors? This beginner friendly class will introduce you to watercolors with fun beginner projects each month! This month's project is neurographic art. Supplies are provided while supplies last. Seating is limited.

Kids can let their imagination soar with hands-on building challenges with LEGO® blocks.

Gametastic is an interactive gaming program designed to maximize play as a means of developing critical thinking skills, social skills, or strategy skills. Children are introduced to various games and gaming techniques through exploratory hands-on activities in a fun and educational environment.  

This program is for those in grades 6-12. Get creative and express yourself exploring, designing, and experimenting with crafts and S.T.R.E.A.M. activities. Stop by the LaunchPad to make a fairy house out of clay and a jar. All supplies included.

Doug's a concierge at a luxury hotel on Manhattan. He saves all his tips towards his plan for a hotel. A potential investor seduces the girl, Doug loves, with false promises of leaving his wife. Doug's dilemma: hotel project or girl?     

Drop by the Sandcastle Auditorium to play or compete in a variety of games from tabletop to screen. Take a turn with the Nintendo Switch™, Meta Quest 2®, or bring friends to play a board or card game such as Taco Cat Goat Cheese Pizza®, Blokus®, and more.

Tales with Tails is an interactive reading program designed for children up to age 12.  Children practice basic reading aloud skills by pairing up with a specially trained, volunteer dog.  Reservations, for 15-minute reading sessions, are required.  Books are provided; or children can bring their favorite story along for the fun and learning!

Ready to Learn Pre-K Storytime is an interactive 21st Century literacy program designed for children ages 3-5 years old. Children and caregivers are introduced to a wide variety of kindergarten readiness skills through stories, rhymes, music, and motor activities; in a fun and educational environment. Programs will end with a brief S.T.R.E.A.M. activity (Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Art, and Math) or with skill development stations.

Sit and Be Fit is a fitness program for adults focusing on stretch and strengthening exercises done while in a seated position. A limited supply of resistance bands will be available for use. Registration is recommended, but not required.
